"They’re not a good neighbor, and State Farm was not there for us when we needed them the most! We have car and home insurance with State Farm. When home disaster struck, they drug out the decision process, gave us the runaround, and switched out claim over to new adjusters mid process. We were originally told they would send ServPro (do not recommend them) to inspect and send report. Servpro were the most rude and unprofessional men who were a week behind on providing report to State Farm. We were told from there State Farm makes a decision. Lie! Then our claim was switched to a new adjuster Kirk Anderson who did not even reach out to us. The first adjuster Kameron told us he was out new adjuster. When I called him as advised, he was rude and said he had no idea about us and asked why I was calling him cause he didn’t call me. I said I was left a message from State Farm Kameron telling me to contact you because you are the new adjuster. I gave our address and he said oh I see, I’m your new adjuster! He said I’ll need to inspect the home. He was so condescending and rude! We set an appt. He no showed and sent his very young assistant Keon. Keon said we needed to hire a plumber to inspect. Why was this not told from the start? This just drug things out more! He said ServPro should have never been sent and he had no info on them. I said State Farm sent them, so ask State Farm. Like what is going on here?! From there we hired a plumber to inspect. Still waiting for refund for inspection fee as promised from State Farm! Then Keon acted clueless to this even though he said we had to get a plumber. I said you told us we needed a plumber. He said did ServPro not ispect plumbing. I said no, and reminded him we already discussed this. I said that’s when you said get a plumber to inspect. I felt like I was in the twilight zone here! I then emailed and uploaded the plumber inspection to State Farm. I inquired about the runaround, confusion with State Farm, and report that the water damage was worsening from their poor service. We needed answers and not runaround. Keon could not maturely handle my inquiry. He spouted off fixing and who we use is up to us and we probably are not getting insurance help. Like I’m all for straight forward honesty, but geez have a little bit more manners! Like just say what the steps are, actually know what the steps are, and let the paid client know you will do your best and give us the outcome once complete. That’s a mature and professional response Keon! Not well you ain’t getting anything! SMH! It was like taking to a immature teenager. I said I know how this works, that the choice whom we use and how to fix is our decision. I said any homeowner with home insurance is going to go through insurance before proceeding. That’s the point of paying for home property damage insurance! Like is Keon not aware of this?! I said his job is to set up necessary procedures and communicate. How did a kid with zero customer service etiquette get this job State Farm? Even a 1-800 State Farm customer support rep thought my situation was ridiculous and not appropriate for the company when I called to inquire about problems. Each adjuster and rep at State Farm gave different instructions for us and no one took accountability for such a poor lack of professionalism or mishandling of our home damage claim. Ultimately the claim was closed. No call from State Farm, no explanation, no care in the world for their PAID client! We found out it was closed in the app and calling to ask ourselves. Thanks for nothing State Farm! Off to our bank to pull a second mortgage most likely. We are insurance shopping again to find a better company! I recommend you all do the same. We have many options this day and age! Keep looking y’all!"

"I called on Aug. 6, 2018 to get a quote on home and auto ins. I spoke to Jennifer who was quite thorough in getting all my info. When completed she said it would be Pam calling me back to give me the actual quote, although all the other Ins. companies were able to quote me during the initial call. It is now Aug. 13th and I have yet to hear from Pam. Can't even imagine how long it would take them to process a claim!"
